'Are we strangers now?' by Alex Simpson

08.08.2014

Alex Simpson is an artist currently in two halves. This exhibition of new painting, ceramic, print and sound is an exploration of this liminal space; a journey between two points; a happening placed at the very centre of their collision. In her work Simpson

attempts to reverse time; rivers run backwards, mountains recedeed, children play god. Through her drawings the viewer looks toward the centre of creation — before the big bang; a black hole; a painted pin prick — and is allowed to peer in, to study the faces staring back.

This is the first time Alex will exhibit in The Netherlands. for 'Are we strangers now?' she made all new work, from paintings, prints, sound and sculptures.

The exhibition will open on Friday the 8th of August starting at 16.00 pm

You can visit the exhibition till the 29th of August by appointment.

You can find more information on Alex her website and the Exhibition eventpage.
